We love Song Time – and we know that so many of you love it too! Many of you ask for song words, or the names of artists so that you can buy the tracks at home – so here is a little helping hand! We have added a few of our favourites below, but if there are any more you would like the words to just let us know and we’ll put them on here! (Most of our tracks are purchased on iTunes where there are LOADS of children’s songs!)
There are also lots of songs on You Tube. Here is a link to a playlist with many of our favourite songs.
Sleeping Bunnies (Big Songs for Little Ones)
See the little bunnies/ little froggies/buzzy bees sleeping ’til it’s nearly noon,
Shall I go and wake them with a merry tune?
They’re so still… are they ill?
Wake up bunnies/froggies, buzzy bees!
Hop little bunnies hop hop hop,
Hop little bunnies hop hop hop,
Hop little bunnies hop hop hop,
Hop hop hop hop hop
Jump little froggies jump jump jump/ fly little bees buzz buzz buzz!
Head, shoulders, knees and toes
Head and shoulders knees and toes
Knees and toes
Head and shoulders knees and toes
Knees and toes
And eyes and ears
And mouth and nose
Head and shoulders knees and toes
Knees and toes
Row, row, row your boat
Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the stream
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily
Life is but a dream
Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the stream
If you see a crocodile
Don’t forget to scream!
Wind the bobbin up
Wind the bobbin up,
Wind the bobbin up,
Pull, pull, clap, clap, clap.
Wind it back again,
Wind it back again,
Pull, pull, clap, clap, clap
Point to the ceiling,
Point to the floor,
Point to the window,
Point to the door,
Clap your hands together, 1, 2, 3,
Put your hands upon your knee.
Dingle Dangle Scarecrow
When all the cows were sleeping
And the sun had gone to bed
Up jumped the scarecrow
And this is what he said!
I’m a dingle, dangle scarecrow
With a flippy floppy hat
I can shake my hands like this
And shake my feet like that
When all the hens were roosting
And the moon behind the cloud
Up jumped the scarecrow
And shouted very loud
I’m a dingle, dangle scarecrow
With a flippy floppy hat
I can shake my hands like this
And shake my feet like that
